BIO

The Windupdeads is a new Swedish rock band and we will probably take over the world quite soon. The Windupdeads formed in the summer of 2007. Band members Rickard Olsˇn, Jonas Westholm and Marcus Von Boisman previously played together in a band called froid. Under that name we released an EP 2006. Summer 2007 proved to be the final year for froid, as the collaboration with the other bandmembers failed. Out of the ashes, The Windupdeads emerged. Bringing in guitarplayer Petter Ingman we began to look for what made creating music so fun, so trivial but so important in the first place. We have spent the fall of 2007 recording an album that will be released in 2008 by One Eleven Records. The song Reverse of Shade has recently gained some attention through the television series gossip girl.
